Acting

Tyler has been acting since her first role as a featured archangel at 8 years old in Langston Hughes’ The Black Nativity at The South Dallas Cultural Center. She went on to Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, TX where she starred in over eight plays including Pullman Car Hiawatha by Thornton Wilder and First Breeze of Summer by Leslie Lee. She went on to get training in the Meisner technique at the Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory under the tutelage of Kevin Kittle as well as training in acting for the camera at New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California

Tyler continued to The University of Texas at Austin where she studied under Liz Engelman and starred in many plays including A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams and Scarlet Letter by Sarah Saltwick. Tyler is currently starring in Meow Wolf’s “The Rift” narrative as Jane of The Umbra Sister.
